超现实拍摄奇特微观世界

Here are a Thai artist’s artworks of miniature people that seem to live together with everyday objects.

这些看上去与日常物品生活在一起的微型小人艺术作品出自一位泰国艺术家之手。

Poy was inspired with the Japanese animation called “Arrietty” made by Studio Ghibli. In the animation, miniature people live with humans all the time, but they haven’t even been noticed.

博伊的灵感来自吉卜力工作室的日本动画片《借东西的小人阿莉埃蒂》。在这部动画片中，微型小人始终和人类居住在一起，但是它们从未被注意到。

Poy loves photography and has been doing that for several years in a number of styles. He said, “Actually, this kind of style is not something new. There are lots of famous photographers who have been taking photos of these little guys so I try to differentiate my work by playing with objects, tools, fruits, etc. Highlight on a surrealistic idea is built around imagination.”

博伊爱好摄影，多年来一直坚持摄影并尝试不同风格的拍摄。他说：“实际上，这种类型并不是什么新鲜事。有很多有名的摄影师一直在拍摄这些小家伙，于是我试图通过把玩物品、工具、水果等使自己的作品与众不同。超现实主义概念的亮点建立在想象力之上。”

New York-based artist Alison Moritsugu chooses the remains of downed trees as canvases for her bucolic oil paintings of the countryside where these trees may have once originated.

This is the fantastic collision of art history and environmental awareness. The rough edges of the cut branches and trunks appear like windows into the past, telling stories that trees’ rings alone cannot.

Photoshopped images of verdant forests and unspoiled beaches invite us to vacation and sightsee, providing a false sense of assurance that the wilderness will always exist. By exploring idealized views of nature, Alison’s work acknowledges our more complex and precarious relationship with the environment.
