一，meeting

meeting：/ ˈmiːtɪŋ /

n. 会议，集会；偶遇，会面；运动会

meeting，

通常指广义上的会议，一般的、在各种场景下的、集合在一起讨论或决定某事的集会/ 会议，普通用词；

通常指参加者数量较少的、持续时间较短的、规模较小的、主要旨在讨论、决策、解决问题、交换信息、协调行动、或娱乐等的集会/会议；

也可指相遇。

（“Meeting” is usually a smaller and more focused gathering/ assembly that involves a smaller group of individuals, is primarily aimed at discussion/ discussing, making decisions / decision-making, problem-solving, exchanging information / information sharing, coordinating actions/activities or entertainment etc., and is generally shorter in duration.）
